About Nicolas

Nicolas is a dedicated AI expert with broad hands-on experience in AI engineering, LLM applications, and responsible AI. He combines a philosophical approach with deep technical insight from his background in both philosophy and computer science, giving him a unique ability to navigate the intersection of technology, ethics, and business. He works analytically and practically with everything from system design and scalable software architecture to the development and implementation of responsible AI solutions.

He also brings comprehensive teaching and workshop experience from the university — including programmes like Techno-Anthropology, Organisational learning, Computer science, and Philosophy of science — which helps turn complex topics into clear, usable practice for teams.

Partner & Tech Director at Your Clip Stock ApS — bringing deep software engineering practice and a strong architecture and tech strategy mindset into AI product development.

Selected activities and contributions

Over the years, Nicolas has contributed to academic discourse on technology, ethics, and responsible innovation. He has given talks at Aarhus Innovation Centre on technological innovation and moral imagination — a topic that connects philosophical thinking with practical innovation and asks how we can design technologies that are not only effective but also ethically sound.

On the academic side, Nicolas taught as external lecturer at both the University of Copenhagen and Aalborg University. At the Niels Bohr Institute he was course director for “Philosophy of Science and Ethics — a course on the philosophy, history, and ethics of chemistry, biochemistry, and nanoscience,” guiding science students through the philosophical and ethical dimensions of their own fields. At Aalborg University he taught on programmes such as Techno-Anthropology, Philosophy and Organisational Learning, and Medialogy, covering subjects including Philosophy, Ethics, and Scientific Communication.

He also taught on the ISOS PhD Retreat with the theme “Prepared for social responsibility? Understanding and formulating strategies for responsible use of contemporary science” — a programme that helped doctoral students develop strategies for responsible use of their research in a broader societal context.

Nicolas has also published academically. In collaboration with Claus Emmeche and Tom Børsen, he published the article 'The Ethos of Post-normal Science' on the values and norms that shape research-based policy advice. The article appeared in the internationally recognised journal Futures.

Teaching & Academic Background

Before moving full-time into consulting, Nicolas spent several years teaching at various Danish universities, on programmes and subjects such as Techno-Anthropology, Learning and Organisational Change, Computer Science, and Philosophy of Science. His courses covered Ethics, human interaction with technology, programming, scientific epistemology, and research methods.

In 2011 Nicolas was nominated as Teacher of the Year on the Techno-Anthropology programme at Aalborg University — a recognition voted on by the students.

That teaching background continues to shape his consulting and workshop style today: breaking down intricate AI concepts into clear, actionable knowledge that teams can put to work immediately.
